Know what your electric car can really do

Charging times on a 3-pin plug or a rapid charger, real-world range in winter, running costs against petrol, and whether it can legally tow your caravan. Version by version, from the maker's own UK figures, and every figure shows where it came from.

Cars we cover

We add cars once their figures are checked against the maker's documents. More are coming.

How we get our figures

Battery, charging, weights and towing limits come from each maker's UK documents, and each figure shows the document and the line it comes from. Charging times and costs are worked out from those with formulas that are on the page. Real-world range and towing range come from published real-world tests. Each figure is marked Official, Derived or Estimated, and the mark shows the source and the date we checked it.

Towing limits are legal limits, so we never estimate them. If the maker hasn't published one for a version, we tell you to check the VIN plate (usually on a door pillar) or your owner's handbook.
